Berkshire Labels have developed BioTAK, the UKs first 100% Biodegradable label made from replenishable and renewable resources, incorporating a completely biodegradable adhesive.
Berkshire Labels Ltd started its research for a completely biodegradable label back in 2001, recognising the need to start providing environmentally friendly alternatives within the packaging industry.
The exclusive BioTAK range from Berkshire Labels has been developed to conform to EN13432 and has now entered the final stages of testing with very positive results already achieved.
The adhesive on our BioTAK range is a 100% biodegradable permanent adhesive, FDA approved. There are other claims of biodegradable labels in the marketplace, however they do not have biodegradable adhesive, ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES!
As more and more companies become environmentally conscious, our BioTAK range has increased in demand both within the UK and further afield. New areas of interest include U.S.A, New Zealand, South Africa and the Caribbean.
Berkshire Labels are passionate about this new innovation and are proud to be playing our part towards more environmentally friendly packaging. Berkshire Labels are accredited to the ISO14001 Environmental Standard.
